The following exhibit represents an vintage central memory card. The central memory of an computer contains the currently executed programs or parts of programs. Besides it contains the required data for the programs. It significantly affects the performance of a computer since the processor has immediate access to it.
In this case we are dealing with an central memory card from IBM (1970). This card was produced with monolithic system technology (MST).
