Central Memory Card

The following exhibit represents a vintage central memory card. The central memory of a computer contains the currently executed programs or parts of programs. Besides it contains the required data for the programs. It affects significant the performance of a computer since the processor has immediate access to it.
In this case we are dealing with an central memory card from IBM (1970). The circuit board is mounted with 32 memory elements with a capacity of 128 byte each element. This card was produced with monolithic system technology (MST).
