memory in MST

The Monolithic System Technology (MST) is a microelectronic circuit family. This technology was used in the exhibit "main memory card of IBM System/370" (1971) and is a replacement technology of SLT.

A maximum of 60 MST modules can be attached on a MST card along with seperate capacitors and resistors. The encapsuled 0.5-inch square module includes one to four circuit chips. Each of these includes up to five circuits.

The technology is designed to provide a balanced reflection of cost and performance requirements.
