Circuits/arithmetic units

Today

According to the science of computer engineering the integrated circuits are the fundament for extensive electronic systems. The integration makes it possible to provide a large functionality conditioned by a lower magnitude. Above all in many cases the integrated circuits make it possible to realize computer systems, which would be often too expensive, complex or need too much engine power and space.
The ambition of the current research is an more efficient fabrication, which is enabled by a parallel fabrication onto a substrate (called waver).
Furthermore the components are going to be more efficient at work, due to shorter pipeline length and therefore a shorter envelope delay with lower load times.
It is important to assemble smaller and high-performance components for mobile enddevices. Only those integrated circuits with their miniaturisation make it possible to design telefon-, SIM-, bank- and credit-cards, RFID, sensors, smaller and long-live cardiac pacemakers or hearing devices, MP3-players and CMOS-cameras, among other things in mobile telefones.
