The name of the first electronic calculator with transistors was IME. He was able to deal with the four basic arithmetic operations. The IME had an accuracy within the 12-digit range. With 25 pounds of weight but he was still too heavy for everyday use.

First „real“ calculator(1967)

The name of the first palm-sized calculator is “Cal Tech”. The weight was only 12.5 kilogramms and the battery had about 4 hours of run time. It was developed by Texas Instruments.The price for these portable calculator was about $2000 (1000 €).
