What came after Zuse?
About 70 years have passed since the inventing of the first computer from Konrad Zuse. At the beginning computers were only limited to process numbers. Increasing efficiency brings more and more applications. Konrad Zuse named a variety of application areas in his writings, where computers will play an important role.
In his writings it will play important rolls in measurement methods, circuit mechanism, operating calculations, statistics and the control of tool-machines, as a controlled computer voice or even for the theory of board and card games.
Nowadays all these areas are very famous for computers. To execute such complex tasks Zuse maintained foundations of the current programming languages.
If-conditions, loops or lists are a part of most today's programming languages.
Overall, today's computers differ just a little bit from the structure of calculating machines of Zuse. They just became smaller and more powerful.
While Zuse's computer filled entire rooms and weighed hundreds of pounds, you can take today's computers, e.g. mobile phones and laptops, to all places you want.
