The SM4 was a computer, that was produced without licence in countries of the Warsaw Pact in the second half of 1970s. The archetype for it was the PDP-11, produced in 1970/71, because of its great importance in the fields of sience and research. The main storage-board of the SM4 is an magnetic-core memory, as it was usual in that time. The most models of the SM4 had a capacity of 128 or 256 kB.
